The night was a bright, silent Holy night,
When Jesus was born.

The stars up in heaven, were shining so bright,

From far away places, they came to see,

They knew He was coming, to set the world free,

Yes, Joseph and Mary, were there on that night,
When Jesus was born.

The sweet virgin Mary, gave birth that night,
When Jesus was born.

New hope for the world, they sang with joy,
When Jesus was born.

Oh, joy to the world, they sang and rejoiced,
When Jesus was born.

When this, all happened, the world was set free,
When Jesus was born.

For He came to this world, to free you and me,
When Jesus was born.

To us, God proved His love for us,
When Jesus was born.

He lives with us now, because of that day,
When Jesus was born.
